Mopping... ;)

My amazing other half has told me that mops were invented in 1956. Before that, I wonder how did women survive. I would find it very difficult to survive without a mop. He knows that; hence, I have no less than two to keep myself busy.

A minha fenomenal cara metade disse-me que as esfregonas foram inventadas em 1956. Não consigo sequer imaginar como é que as mulheres sobreviviam antes disso. Pessoalmente, acho muito difícil sobreviver sem uma esfregona. Ele sabe disso e é por o saber tão bem que tenho duas lá em casa para me entreter.

Ok, Aurora, this girl did NOT get a plastic surgery as a Christmas gift, she still looks dainty and somewhat fresh and she is happy as she can be. I'm only sorry she got her hair waxed...

I'm still trying to figure out the paradox of how come the so called liberation made women apparently more frustrated.

As mulheres hoje têm um look deprimido, mesmo as estrelas quando fazem pose para a câmaras.
Ainda estou a tentar compreender este paradoxo: porque é que uma suposta igualdade de género só nos trouxe uma aparente maior frustração.

These maids! The shopping! The kids! Dozens of visits! Oh, what a mess! Hundreds of things to arrange! It's not a surprise that poor mum has over-excited nerves, headaches and a heavy tiredness in the whole body. How gladly she takes then the ASPIRIN PILLS. Two pills in a glass of water and mummy is like always, happy, smiling, healthy and glad as a fish in the water. And for kids, when they have toothache or earache, to daddy, when he returns exhausted from work, to grandparents, when they're tormented with rheumatism, well, for all the family, the BAYER pills are a true blessing.


I found interesting how, in the whole family, mum was the one for whom aspirin is better indicated. And even more interesting the problems that broke is nerves down.

Achei interessante como, em toda a família, a mãe era a pessoa destacada por precisar da aspirina. E mais interessante ainda o tipo de problemas que lhe davam cabo dos nervos.
